An exciting 12 month temporary full-time employment opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse/Midwife to undertake a Clinical Coach Role within the Clinical Practice Development Unit at Townsville University Hospital. Please note there are six (6) positions available. About your opportunity: Fixed term temporary full-time, 12 months, 6 positions available The Clinical Coach (Clinical Nurse/Midwife) leads and delivers educational support at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse/Midwifery Standards of Practice, via facilitation of experiential learning and encouraging/empowering the "teacher" within each clinician.
Clinical Coaches (Clinical Nurses/Midwives) actively engage with nursing and midwifery staff to embed a culture of learning, focused on providing the best possible learning opportunities for students.
What's on offer: Generous remuneration package value up to $132,289 p.a.
comprising:Salary range of $4138.10 to $4431.10 p.f.

Role Requirements: Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.Mandatory: Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent.Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable.
Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.Possession of class C drivers' licence.Travel: Travel by light aircraft may be required.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
