This involves conducting one-on-one telehealth interviews with Veterans to better understand the nature and source of their psychological injuries, along with administration and interpretation of various psychometrics. Following initial training in Canberra you will be supported remotely and required to operate as part of the Clinical Claims team with autonomy. Also, whilst strongly supported by the team, it is likely that in this role you will be exposed to recounts of significant trauma. Consequently, it is important that you are emotionally resilient and able to provide effective support to clients.
As a clinic, we are focused our team's wellbeing and growth and hope this job will allow support and development as mental health clinicians. We have seen a large growth in the team over the last 12 months, with further expansion expected. You will be invited to participate in fortnightly group supervision with the Clinical Claims Specialists, as well as ad hoc supervision with our psychology team which provides fantastic learning and networking opportunities. Whilst the job requires you to work remotely from a confidential space at home, it is likely that as the team grows, we can create local hubs for Clinical Claims Specialists to work together around the country.
We will be providing those in the role with a laptop and will be providing remuneration of $42.39/hour (plus super).
Interviews for this role will take place on 9,10 and 11 December with offers made prior to Christmas shutdown.
