We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Clinical Care Manager, who is able to provide clinical leadership and support to our home in Cranbourne and to ensure guidance in the provision of advanced clinical and person-centred care of residents aligned with our contemporary practices.
This position will also be responsible for ensuring the direct care needs of residents are met through effective resources management, monitoring and managing clinical governance, promoting principles of best practice and assistance in driving continuous improvement activities, developing and implementing innovative processes to promote a systematic approach to care in the home.
The successful applicant will be:
Bachelor of Nursing equivalent or higherA Registered Nurse currently registered in Australia (APHRA) without any notationMinimum 3-4 years' experience in Aged Care in AustraliaProvide clinical leadership and act as a positive role model and resource for all staff at the residenceResponsible for management of and accountability for clinical care provisionsA confident team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for leading clinical outcomesA team mentality and ability to work within and develop teamsStrong focus on improving the quality of life of our clientsDemonstrated ability to assist the Residential Manager in mentoring and supervising staffPostgraduate qualifications in gerontology, Dementia Care, Palliative Care or Wound Management or relevant discipline would be highly regarded but is not mandatorySound understanding of ANACCSound clinical decision-making skillsSound understanding of relevant legislation and experience in meeting Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission StandardsHighly organised with proven ability to appropriately prioritise tasks in a busy environmentExcellent computer skills and ability to use computer software in the delivery of care servicesHold a current Victorian driver's licenseThe successful incumbent will enjoy benefits such as: Expansive benefits platformReward and recognition programEducation and trainingCareer opportunitiesState of the Art Wellness programPlease spend some time researching our website, Facebook page, learning about our L.I.F.E. principles and other readily available information as you will be expected to explain why you have applied for this position at Lifeview.
