About the Role Reporting directly to the DOC, this is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of clinical care services within the organisation including: Empowering the care team to deliver best care outcomes for our residents, Uplifting the care team through education and positive environment Monitoring the care roster, Responsible for the coordination of the infection prevention and control (IPC) program compliance and risk management relating to best practice in resident care, Supporting the DOC to meet compliance and act as DOC in their absence and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care and services to support the overall objectives of the organisation. Desired Skills and Attributes: Experience in working in a similar leadership position in Residential Aged Care. Supervisory / Leadership Experience. Strong communication skills and documentation practice. Exceptional organisation and time management skills Excellent understanding of care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation Good understanding of AN-ACC Short course in Infection prevention and control in a health care setting or willing to complete Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement Experience with Manad or similar Current AHPRA Registration Current Police Check Current Vaccinations in accordance with Government requirements. Qualities Ability to ensure best outcomes for our residents at all times. Ability to support change management Highly motivated and seeks continuous quality improvement. Flexible and innovative.
