About the Unit The Austin Liver Transplant Unit is the Statewide provider of liver transplant services for Victoria, Tasmania and parts of southern New South Wales. About the Role An opportunity exists for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join the administration team of the Victorian Liver Transplant unit on a part-time fixed term basis (long service leave cover). The primary responsibilities of the role are managing outpatient clinics and providing administrative support to the unit. The role also works closely with the other members of the multidisciplinary team. We are seeking customer-oriented and solution-focused candidates who have a demonstrated ability to quickly build relationships that are necessary to smoothly run a busy unit reception.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Relevant administration/secretarial experience providing high level administration support to a team of multidisciplinary professionalsProven customer-service skills and the ability to work effectively and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholdersExceptional communication skills (telephone, in-person, email) including discretion and confidentiality in sensitive mattersA track record of taking initiative to resolve issues efficiently and professionally and adapt to changing circumstancesWell-developed organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks, maintain attention to detail and manage a busy workloadDemonstrated ability to maintain accurate data and recordsWorking at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
