YOUR ROLE Join our Corporate Affairs & Sustainability division as a Climate Analytics Specialist to support the implementation of and updates to IAG's Climate Action Plan.
In this role, you'll provide vital data-driven insights and analytical support to advance IAG's climate change efforts.
Using advanced data visualisation techniques, you'll present findings clearly, enabling informed decisions and ensuring steady progress toward our climate goals and interim targets.
This is a 6-month max-term contract role based in Gadigal Country (Sydney). ABOUT YOU Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as sustainability, environmental science, business, finance, actuarial, or data analytics, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience. Knowledge and experience in climate change and climate-related risk (physical and transition) in a corporate, research, financial or government context (desirable). Highly developed analytical, data management, and visualisation skills, including the capacity to gather, examine and understand large-scale climate data sets. Proven ability to evaluate climate data, and develop and implement analytical solutions for complex climate challenges. Exposure and understanding of relevant GHG accounting guidelines and methodologies. Experience in developing and integrating climate metrics and targets into broader organisational risk management, business strategy and strategic processes.
