A loving, active, professional family in the Clifton Hill area are seeking a bright, bubbly and proactive nanny to assist in caring for their engaging and outgoing two year old toddler.The family is looking for someone who is experienced, organized, reliable and responsible to provide loving care throughout the day and transport to weekly activities.The ideal nanny would also be energetic, creative, nurturing, patient, calm and would proactively plan and engage in activities to promote the child's growth and development.Experience with allergies and intolerances or the willingness and ability to learn quickly is preferred.The family also have a much-loved dog who may also need occasional walking and feeding.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childFollow the child's routinePlan, play, and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in developmentDriving and accompanying the child to activitiesAssisting with light household duties including laundry, and general tidying for the childGrocery shopping and food preparation for the childStart Date: Mid to late April 2024Contract Length: 6 months with the opportunity to continueThe days and normal hours are: 4 days – 40 hours per weekMonday – Thursday 8:15am – 6:15pmWith occasional weekend coverage from time-to-timeThe family's expectations from their nanny are:3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child careHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working with Children CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishUp to date with all vaccinationsFull Drivers License required and own car preferredJob Reference: LLCH147Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
