Client Side Project Manager - Civil

They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 15+ years experience to join their Adelaide team. They are a specialist consultancy for construction and infrastructure development projects throughout Australia. This is a unique opportunity to join their steadily growing Adelaide team. The Role Assist in the senior leadership team with leading single or multiple projects. Be able to work in a team environment and develop good team working relationships. Contribute to team effort as well as individual tasks. Actively contribute and coordinate discipline specific activities i.e. estimating of projects including but not limited to first principles and unit rate estimating or the development of Project management plans. Be aware of the North business unit strategies. Efficient coordination of assigned projects, including understanding the scope of the and level of detail and effort commensurate with the proposal. Fully conversant with, and well-practiced in, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the company. Assist in receiving a client brief and help deliver the project. Actively input into project reporting & client liaison. Understanding of the critical success factors in discipline specific activities as it affects our clients and ourselves. Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully to clients. Maintain an up-to-date best practice documentation generated by corporate services team. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Pro-active time management and general reliability. The Candidate You will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar with minimum 15 years experience in civil construction including infrastructure.
