Company DescriptionClient Services Officer (Veterinary Dermatology) – Part Time, up to 48 hours per fortnight – Brisbane, Queensland Established in 1998, Dermatology for Animals provides the veterinary dermatology service within the majority of specialist multi-disciplinary veterinary hospitals in Queensland, as well as providing dermatology referral services to regional centres in North Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales. We are now looking for an additional Client Services Officer to join our wonderful team of highly skilled veterinarians, nurses, and dedicated support staff in south-east Queensland. The position is based in our main office in Stafford on the northside of Brisbane.
The role of Client Services Officer in our practice involves being the primary telephone and email contact for referring vets and clients. You will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, an excellent communicator who understands that first impressions count. Duties include scheduling appointments and using our practice management software, providing brief explanations of our services to clients, taking payments, email management, and liaising with our veterinarians and nurses about the services we provide.
Our initial training programme will arm you with an understanding of what it is we do and where we fit into the veterinary ecosystem. Veterinary dermatology is unique amongst referral disciplines in fostering long-term relationships with clients and patients. It's less about fixing our patients and sending them on their way, and more about managing their issues so that they and their owners can live their best lives. As part of our administration team, you will understand that good communication is the key to fostering the trust that is an integral part of this mission.
