We currently have a need for a Client Services Manager.
Position Overview The Client Services Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end monitoring, administration, and management of localization projects for major video streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Video. Manage the planning and execution of subtitling and dubbing projects for multimedia content, ensuring that quality standards and audience expectations are met. Develop and update project plans and schedules to monitor project milestones, delivery dates, and other important timelines, ensuring these remain on course as required. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and accurate subtitle translations and dubs to video streaming platforms and TV audiences. Manage project budgets, purchase order requests, and quotes for all localization projects, including negotiating with clients and other stakeholders as needed. Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to coordinate the acquisition of AV material, localization of content, and delivery of final assets to video streaming platforms within tight deadlines. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders such as Netflix for the delivery of content to their platforms. Work with local and international production companies to provide subtitling and dubbing services as well as access media services such as Audio Description and Closed Captioning for their content. Collaborate with dubbing talents and translators to ensure client requirements and deadlines are met. Facilitate communication and collaboration between voice artists, translators, and clients on creative and artistic decisions related to day-to-day dubbing and subtitling. Communicate and liaise with stakeholders on cultural-specific sensitivities and nuances that impact how content is expressed on the relevant streaming services. Provide leadership and direction to a team of coordinators, ensuring they are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives, providing training as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Media or a related field. 3 - 5 years of work experience in a Client Services position, preferably in the entertainment and/or localization industry. Experience working with the following stakeholders: Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Video. Minimum 3 years' Project management experience, specifically managing timelines, budgets, quality and client relationships. Individual must be based in Australia. Video streaming platform (e.g. Netflix and Amazon) project management experience is highly advantageous. Understand languages and localization processes and have experience with managing the localization of content to different regions. Experience in initiating and implementing corrective and preventative action processes. Experience working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. Experience working with diverse cultures (specifically Asia Pacific regions) and managing cultural differences. Solid technical understanding of the television distribution industry preferred. Background in localization or translation/interpreting preferred. Proficient with the MS Office suite of programs, including inventory, order processing, project management, and database software. Ability to work some extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines. Diversity Statement

The salary range for this role is $90,000-95,000 AUD.
