We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Manager to join an established holistic Financial Planning Practice that prides itself on its extensive knowledge within the Medical Professional Industry.
You will be predominately responsible for all administrative functions associated with supporting Financial Services Consultants and their portfolios of high-net-worth clients.
A successful candidate would ideally have experience within the Financial Planning Industry in addition to satisfying the below requirements.
On-the-job training is provided; however, we are seeking candidates that already possess sound knowledge within this Industry.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Proficient financial services administration to the Consultant in all facets of tax-based financial services for high-net-worth clients.Prepare client meeting compliance documentation, advice requests, meeting file notes, client reports, and portfolio valuations.Maintain client records and data integrity to ensure accuracy for client reviews.Undertake annual projects for clients with superannuation contribution programs, salary packages, unlisted assets, and life cover super policies in place.Administer SMSF compliance documentation for Trustees and members.Maintain a high level of understanding of group behaviors and have a desire to be a role model.Calendar and diary management for client and in-house meetings.Management of office correspondence and responding to client emails in a timely manner.Maintain good relations with external financial service providers and liaise with them in a professional manner.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend weekly team meetings to discuss current matters.Administration of all Smith Coffey superannuation, risk, and investment advice strategies.Coordinate the preparation of SMSF fund documents in accordance with the Smith Coffey review advice procedure.Generate insurance quotations on existing and proposed products.Check on the progress of risk applications through underwriting and communicate status to clients and Consultants.Consistent awareness of current legislative and compliance requirements for provisioning quality independent financial advice.KEY ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: One or two years in financial planning, exposure to Xplan.Relevant industry qualifications or at least a willingness to take on the relevant study.Excellent attention to detail, a natural affinity with numbers.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Production-centric attitude, i.e., a good time manager.Be a team player but have a strong personal motivation to succeed.Have a caring and amiable disposition.Be flexible and enjoy change, considering ongoing improvement as a norm.Committed to personal and professional development and willingness to attend seminars and professional development sessions outside business hours.Desire to progress towards meeting the FASEA Code of Ethics standard.Ideally, you have worked in an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant role for at least two years supporting an Accountant, Consultant, or Financial Planner.
