The Client Services Coordinator provides assistance to strengthen Youth Detention Centre practice and improve outcomes for detained children, their families, and communities. This role identifies and responds to Detention Centre and system-wide opportunities for improvements in the delivery of quality Youth Justice Practices.
As The Client Service Coordinator, You Will Specifically: Assist with the implementation of the Youth Detention framework, with particular reference to developing the capability of Youth Detention Centre staff in strength-based practice and Trauma Informed Practice to assist in the delivery of quality Youth Justice advice and services.Provide evidence-based advice to the Youth Remand Centre leadership team on complex practice matters in the delivery of effective and quality Youth Justice services.Analyse performance data to identify trends and issues, consider systemic issues and the relationship between multiple performance measures in terms of the impact on service to clients.Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to team leaders and other Detention Centre staff; to deliver a program of work with a focus on improving the quality of the casework and outcomes for children and young people in the Youth Justice system.Implement quality assurance mechanisms that support the monitoring and continuous improvement of services to detained young people, their families, and communities.Develop enduring and productive service delivery partnerships to support service delivery outcomes, enhance cross-sectoral participation, training and development, and state-wide delivery and coordination of Youth Justice services.Establish and maintain systems, practices, and standards to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Youth Detention services.Assist in the management of multiple projects including implementation as part of the ongoing reform renewal agenda.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
