**Job Overview:**

CMS Energy is seeking a dedicated and proficient Client Service Officer to join our dynamic team. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Client Interaction & Support:**
- Respond to client inquiries via multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, ensuring all queries are met with a professional and courteous approach.
- Assist clients in understanding our products and services, providing detailed information to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues swiftly and effectively, escalating complex problems to senior staff when necessary.

2. **Client Relationship Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively reach out to clients to assess their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for enhancing service delivery.

3. **Administrative Duties:**
- Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions using CRM software.
- Prepare reports on client feedback, trends, and service performance metrics to share with the management team for continuous improvement.

4. **Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with internal teams (such as Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support) to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance metrics, and ways to enhance the client experience.

5. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the client service function and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay informed of industry trends and changes to ensure CMS Energy remains competitive in our service offerings.

**Requirements:**

- **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client service or customer support role.

- **Personality Traits:**
- Resilient: Ability to bounce back from setbacks and maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Confident: Possess a strong belief in your abilities and the ability to instill confidence in clients.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively to clients and team members.

- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other client service software.
- Familiarity with common technology tools and platforms used in a remote working environment.
