Client Service Officer - Part Time

The Opportunity

As a Client Service Officer, working within our Personal Injury contact centre division in the Brisbane CBD, you'll be the first person our clients speak with on their journey to seek justice from the adversity they've experienced.

Working 4 days per week, on a permanent part time basis, you'll cover the weekend roster that spans Friday to Monday, after an initial full time training period. In addition, this role is offered as a hybrid position, working a mixture of both in the Brisbane CBD office, and from home.

With empathy, adaptability and initiative, you will be a true champion of our group members by:
Responding to a high volume of inbound calls and other communications, such as emails, social media messages and website enquiries.Cultivating strong relationships with our clients, through empathy and understanding, while interpreting their needs and assisting them on their journey to seeking compensation.Applying your keen eye to spot opportunities for improvement so that we can stay ahead of the pack and deliver the best outcomes for Shine's client base.What you'll bring We truly care for our clients, and you will, too. You'll be comfortable and capable of creating a safe and culturally sensitive environment for them to communicate their concerns and needs.You'll be naturally empathetic, have a passion for social justice and helping people, especially those who may be experiencing trauma.You'll recognise and value the importance of your role in being the gateway to support for clients.If you've had previous experience in a contact centre, that's great, but it's not essential for success.
