Job Profile Summary DXC is actively seeking a seasoned leader to serve as a Client Manager for a strategic federal government client to manage the mainframe portfolio.
The account consists of leading an existing book of business with an emphasis on growth, innovation and driving a strategic long term partnership.
The Client Partner owns the P&L for the mainframe business, supported by Consulting, Delivery, Sales, Operations and Finance teams.
The ideal candidate should have experience in managing the performance of complex programs and managed services engagements within the Australian Federal Government context.
Furthermore, the Client Partner is expected to have strong leadership qualities, as the role involves both direct and indirect management of multi-disciplinary teams supporting to deliver key business outcomes for a strategic client engagement, including oversight of extended teams such as ecosystem partners and client resources.
Candidates must have a high level and detailed understanding of mainframe services in either Federal Government or Tier 1 Banks.
You will be client-facing and should be articulate, clear communicators who enjoy solving client problems with a motivated, passionate team.

Essential Job Functions: Act as the Clients Trusted Mainframe advisor, ensuring that client needs are met and solutions are delivered effectively.Support the development and execution of account strategies and contribute to profitable growth.Maintain regular client communication, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute account-related projects successfully.Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow the account portfolio.Participate in preparing and delivering client reports and presentations.Actively monitor industry trends and adapt account strategies accordingly.Support and mentor junior account management professionals in their growth.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.Demonstrated success in account leadership roles, meeting or exceeding sales and revenue objectives and building client relationships.Leadership and strategic planning capabilities, effective communication skills, and a history of contributing to business growth.A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.In alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.
