The Client Partner at Capgemini is crucial in driving business growth within the public sector and Defence industries, carrying sales targets and acting as the front line of the business. It is pivotal in fostering and managing strategic relationships with key clients, orchestrating the delivery of Capgemini's services, ensuring alignment with the client's strategic goals and operational excellence. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the account and coordinating with different service lines within Capgemini to bring comprehensive solutions to the clients. It involves not only maintaining long-term partnerships but also serving as a strategic advisor, deeply understanding the client's needs and business context. The Client Partner develops tailored account strategies that span one to three years, aimed at driving business growth through insight-driven solutions. This Client Partner covers BAE, Defence and the Defence Industry.
We require a blend of deep industry knowledge, particularly in Defence and the Defence Industry, and the ability to leverage Capgemini's broad capabilities in technology and consulting to help clients navigate their most pressing challenges. Client Partners play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and are instrumental in driving the success of Capgemini's engagements. Ideally already based in Canberra and well connected in the local ecosystem.

Develop strategic relationships with key clients in the public sector and Defence industries.Craft and execute detailed account strategies to meet short and long-term goals.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new target accounts.Collaborate with various Capgemini service lines to bring comprehensive solutions to clients.Meet and exceed sales targets, playing a critical role in the frontline business growth.Provide thought leadership and strategic insights tailored to the client's industry challenges.Manage project delivery to ensure quality standards are met and that the services align with client objectives.Facilitate communication and coordination between client teams and Capgemini's internal teams.Monitor market and industry trends to keep client strategies relevant and proactive.Let's talk about your capability and experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; or equivalent demonstratable experience.A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or business development, within the Defence and Defence Industries sector.Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.Strong understanding of digital transformation solutions and how they apply to the public sector.Experience in strategic planning and execution of complex, large-scale projects & managed services.Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex business challenges.Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in engaging with C-level executives.Willingness to travel as needed to meet business and client requirements.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with both the client's and the company's long-term goals.Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills, ensuring clients are satisfied and their needs are addressed effectively.Sales Acumen: Proficient in identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets.Adaptability: Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment, adjusting strategies as market conditions change.About Capgemini:
