Our client is one of Australia's largest and leading privately owned Insurance Brokers and Financial Services providers. They work with businesses and individuals across a diverse range of sectors, and their clients choose to partner with them because of their extensive experience, expertise, knowledge, innovation, and proactive approach.
They are looking for an experienced Corporate/Mid-Market Account Manager to manage a significant and complex general insurance portfolio across a mix of industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a role where they can demonstrate their account management, client engagement, and business development experience. Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of clients;Advise clients across a wide range of insurance services;Lead client strategy and service requirements;Lead market engagement and strategy;Monitor and supervise direct reports;Drive business growth objectives of the organisation by developing new business and retaining existing business;Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained whilst applying the organisation's client principles, ensuring client satisfaction and retention levels;Maintain regulatory, compliance, and education standards.Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of Insight would be ideal but not essential;Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;Ability to use Insurer Portals along with Sunrise and SVU;Confidence in handling significant volumes of work in a timely manner;Articulate with good communication skills;Excellent organisation skills;Business relationship management and business development;Technical general insurance knowledge;Negotiation and influencing.Preferred Experience: 5-10 years insurance experience in general lines, preferably in a Corporate environment;Current experience as an Account Manager;Ideally completed or working toward a Diploma in Insurance Broking or interested in proceeding with such studies;Package commensurate with experience. Flexible working arrangements are available. Encouragement toward Diploma in Insurance Broking, with financial support. Access to the Australian Institute of Management course program. Technical insurance training, with in-house and select market experts.
