Overview of Your Role The Client Director role assists the Managing Partner in leading and delivering the strongest possible agency relationship and performance on assigned clients.
With trusted and influential relationships across clients, media and agency partners.
This role is a training ground for becoming a Client Partner.
The Ideal Candidate: You will have a minimum of 7 years experience, with a fundamental understanding of the Australian landscape.
You will have experience in managing client, agency and publisher stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
In addition, you will have a critical eye for detail.

The Client Director role on Unilever specifically requires you to own and manage the complete end to end process across the Unilever brands.

Builds trusted advisor relationship with clients at a senior levelInvolved in internal and client WIPs, and leads contact reports where required.Has a solid understanding of their clients' business and relevant brand categories.Manages client expectations and delivery across relevant projects.
Leads timeline creation with clientsHas strong relationships with media owners at a senior levelManages and coordinates client requests, as required.Build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client serviceProvides insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry and competitorsHas a complete strategic view of the client business e.g.
market share, purchase barriers, key competitors, drivers, tasksWorks alongside the client and agency partners to provide best-case outcomes using the agency resources effectivelyClear understanding of the in-scope services of the client and the process for completing work above and beyondLeads communication with key clients, making sure that all parties are alignedCurious about the client's business – asks questions and requests access to all business-related information.Puts the client interests first, focusing on their business outcomes linked to KPIs rather than media opportunitiesProduct:
Possesses an understanding of the agency process and product differentiatorsHas a solid knowledge and understanding of groupm products/processes and drives collaboration across these units to benefit the clientLeads the portfolio management across the client's business when necessaryAssists in prioritising the workflow across all business units working on the clientLeads quality control of work going to the client across all business units to ensure our product is answering the business needDelivers on thought leadership/POV/innovation roadmap for their clients in collaboration with other areas of the businessLeads delivery of the annual roadmap and ensures the team are across the action planShares and cascades inspiring and relevant content and thought leadership pieces/case studies with the clientFull understanding and comprehension of the client brief and ability to discuss it internally with the broader client teamAlways seeks to raise the benchmark for the quality of the product going to your clientSeeks to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role, whilst owning the ways of working doc and ensuring the team are following its processesDelivers a well-informed point of view and not afraid to challenge clients/internal team to achieve a better outcomeIs a Mindshare spokesperson on industry subjects with a strong, high profile and positive reputation and personality in the market.
