Clerkship Position

A boutique taxation law firm based in Stones Corner is seeking a PLT/law student for a clerkship position. The position is a part time role of 2-3 days per week offering flexibility for days worked (with the potential to lead to a full time position).Work would encompass:Involvement in structuring, estate planning and superannuation files.Setting up of Companies, Trusts and Super Funds.Implementing restructures and structure changes.Corporate restructures.Trust restructures.Preparation of Wills and estate planning.Registration of transactions through government bodies including the titles office and Queensland Revenue Office.Preparation of objections and submissions to the Taxation Office and revenue authorities.Provision of advice.The applicant should have a good professional work ethic. Experience is not necessary. An interest in Trusts, business structures, estates, superannuation and the law relating to investments will be looked upon favourably.
