We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.
About the role This position is responsible for the clerical day of service activities in Acute Specialist Clinics.
Clerical staff provide customer service, clerical and reception related duties that strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes, adheres to the code of conduct, policies and procedures, values and goals of Eastern Health.

Eastern Health Acute Specialist Clinics?are?a busy department of the hospital, meeting the needs of patients from the community by providing a range of specialist services.
Approximately 160 000 occasions of service are provided annually.
These include new patients referred from the community, review appointments for ongoing care and post admission follow up from Eastern Health's network of hospitals.
Clerical staff are a highly regarded member of the multidisciplinary team that ensure Specialist Clinics functions well.
Services offered in?Specialist Clinics?include, Orthopaedics, Plastics, General Medical, Surgery, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Respiratory, Liver, and Paediatrics.
About you ? To be successful in this role you will possess: Year 10 level English?written and spoken Knowledge of?patient management systems (iPM, CPF, EMR) Computer competent in?Microsoft?Word, Outlook?and Excel? Advanced?telephone skills and clerical?skills Ability to?provide quality customer service in a friendly and professional manner to support high quality patient centred care Excellent communication and organisational?skills The ability to work as part?of a diverse team Please refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
