This recruitment pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts and permanent opportunities. Currently, there is one (1) fixed term contract available for immediate filling. About the roles Clerical Officer – Level 1 The Clerical Officer is responsible for providing clerical support to the business unit, ensuring that approved administration processes are maintained.
This includes, but is not limited to, word processing, maintaining correspondence and filing systems, attending to telephone and reception and general clerical duties.
The Administration Assistant provides administration/clerical functions and maintenance of administrative systems and works collaboratively with staff in other directorates and within the division to achieve common goals and best practice and facilitate business improvements as appropriate, demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills, customer focus and alignment with Departmental strategic objectives.
The Administration positions at Banksia Hill Detention Centre provide support to the site, ensuring that administrative and financial processes are adhered to.
This includes, but is not limited to word processing, data entry, maintaining correspondence and filing systems, human resource functions and general clerical duties within the Business Management, Security and Human Resource portfolios.
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.

Pool Recruitment This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes.
Permanent, fixed-term and full-time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
