Reporting to the company Directors, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects within scope, designated timeframes, and budget. To achieve this, you will plan the project from conception through to completion, ensuring the project remains on target by maintaining an accurate construction program to ensure all activities are sequenced to deliver the project safely, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: Manage Head Contract progress claims to ensure it is in line with the cash flow forecast. Manage subcontractor payment schedules and payment process to ensure they are in line with company expectations and S.O.P.A. Manage the construction resources (internal and external) for all scheduled construction activities and the delivery of programs across allocated sites to achieve the most efficient use of resources. Ensure the achievement of optimum outcomes regarding safety, quality, budget, time, and capacity to meet delivery program schedules relative to program costs. Control and manage the construction and resources schedule. Control and optimise capital and construction program delivery with key site personnel. Chair review meetings regarding safety in design. Chair and manage design meetings. Chair PCG meetings. Schedule proposed construction activities that achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external). Have complete involvement in the Tendering process. Establish close working relationships with all stakeholders to develop an environment of cooperation in delivering the project on-time and within budget. Develop forecasts and negotiate the availability and allocation of major plant and specialist workgroups so that maximum work output is obtained in the time available. Ultimately, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and management for the Project Team, ensuring Project Team operational functions and KPIs are clearly defined and achieved whilst aligning with company objectives. You will be responsible for providing regular, accurate, and reliable reporting of the Project Teams providing visibility of activities both financial and non-financial to achieve the documented targets and goals of the business.
