Yackandandah Health is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities located in beautiful North East Victoria, close to snow fields, wineries and waterways. With over 100 employees, Yackandandah Health is the largest employer in the town.
We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services and apartment living. We are innovative and forward-thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services.
What you will do?
Holistic assessments in partnership with residents and their representatives Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans Supervise and support Personal Care Workers Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management Liaison with medical and allied health care staff Positive resident experience through resident-centred approach You must be dedicated to working within the applicable quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards. Who are you and what will you bring?
Registration with the AHPRA as a registered nurse is essential Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care Strong verbal and written communication skills Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain) Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care Interested?
