About the team
As a single point of access to NSW Government services and support, the newly formed Customer Care and Business Bureau division within Service NSW is committed to providing meaningful, customer-centric experiences to individuals and businesses across New South Wales, including in times of crisis or natural disaster.
This encompasses proactive and responsive delivery of services and support across our digital, in-person and telephone channels, with a focus on relationship-based, tailored and localised services.

The Customer Care and Business Advisory team comprises the Small Business Advisory, Emergency Management Advisory and Business Connect functions.
The team leads strategic policy advice with oversight of the NSW Charter for Small Business Charter and commissions and delivers independent business advisory services.
About the role
As the Program Manager, the role leads and manages delivery teams and/or programs of work to plan, develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a business advisory program portfolio, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of a portfolio of projects, identifying interdependencies and leveraging resources to maximise efficiencies and achieve required organisation outcomes.
Lead and oversee all aspects of project development, implementation and closure across a portfolio of complex projects, including preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, managing budgets and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and in line with best practice project management methodology.
About you
Experienced program delivery manager, with proven ability to oversee and drive key results and benefits to the organisation
Strong problem-solving skills
The ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships across Government agencies and external stakeholders
Strong contract management and procurement skills, including experience of delivery value for money through contracts
Experience working in a fast-paced and complex environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in leading and developing teams
Good awareness of economic and policy matters, and program responses for small business, or the ability to develop this awareness quickly
