ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager – Operational Projects to join our growing team based in our West Perth office. You will be responsible for ensuring all project works are planned and executed safely, efficiently and effectively meeting client, HSE, quality, time, budget and contractual requirements. You will play a key role in seeking and continually driving Business Development opportunities, whilst providing strong team leadership driving workforce engagement, performance, productivity and alignment with Warrikal's values and culture. Your responsibilities will include:
Seek sustainable Business Development opportunities growing our projects scope across the site and services being provided. Communicate site-based team direction, driving a one-team, high performance mentality. Provide site operational management, oversight and support of all activities, including monitoring progress & performance & taking the required actions to ensure the success of all site specific executed works. Act as the key contact both internally and externally for all works undertaken on the site. Ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of human resources, procurement, plant and equipment to achieve quality production & efficiencies and on-time, within budget, safe project delivery. Ensure relevant plant, equipment, tooling and personnel are organized and fit for purpose for associated upcoming works. ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:
5 years' + experience in a similar capacity. 10 years' + experience in the mining and resources sector, preferably iron-ore projects. Demonstrated success in planning, executing & overall management of site based teams. Knowledge of the Workplace Health & Safety Act & associated legislation. WHY WARRIKAL?
