Lindsay Transport is currently seeking an Allocator to join our National Transport Office based in Coffs Harbour.

The Opportunity:
This role is an integral member of our National Transport Office Team and will be responsible for the successful running of our Linehaul operations. The primary purpose of this position is liaising with the drivers, operations staff, compliance and customers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Allocation of drivers and scheduled runs Communication of departure and arrival times with drivers Knowledge of driver fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirements Maximising the utilisation of fleet to achieve optimal operational efficiency Implementation and enforcement of processes and business rules Ensuring drivers conduct is in line with company policies and procedures Achieving customer satisfaction and quality service by ensuring all "on time" driver performance This role is structured around a day shift roster, running from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekend shifts. This schedule offers a balanced work-life dynamic, allowing for regular weekday hours while maintaining flexibility for weekend work when necessary.

Monitoring the driver's hours on shuttle and linehaul runs Communicating departure and arrival times with customers, depots, and drivers Ensuring driver's conduct is in line with company policies and procedures.
