This role is suitable for the self-motivated individual that wants to work in a small - medium sized broking firm that is rapidly growing. It would suit any existing solo brokers that have been in the industry and find it lonely without team members, tiring to never get a break or who are great at some aspect of the industry but need help in other aspects. It would also suit the existing or former bank lender or existing mortgage broker in a salaried position that doesn't have the option to grow in their company.
We are a growing team of 20 and our next team member is an experienced Mortgage/Finance Broker that has some industry experience and is looking to join a team that can help them go to the next level. This particular role is commission only and we offer probably the best in the market commission splits with joint trail ownership and the right for you to purchase your entire client base down the track should you wish to. The option to purchase is written into your contract.
Our commission model is simple:
On leads provided by us you will receive 60% of the upfront commission and 50% of the trail commission. On leads you bring into the business through your own means you will receive 80% of the upfront commission and 50% of the trail. You will enjoy the same upfront splits on any other revenue producing activity (insurance commission, asset finance referrals & other business).
We will pay your industry regulatory costs included but not limited to:
FBAA/MFAA annual costs
Aggregator costs
Credit rep fees
AFCA
Any subscriptions we use in the business (Quickli, Gsuite, Slack & more).

We can help you hire or we can provide support staff on either a pay per file, part time or full time basis. You will pay for the cost of the support staff however we have excellent systems in place to attract & retain the top talent in the industry. We will chat more about this in the interview as there are multiple options.
NOTES:
There is no base pay, this is a commission only structure and you will have to establish a company set up (pty ltd). There is an expectation to write a minimum volume of business. If this is not met within the first year, we may consider retaining employment however ongoing costs will be forwarded to the broker. Due to the high expected volume of applications, your application will be disregarded without the initial video. If you are successful to the next round, we will send you our aptitude test. We will only select 5 or fewer people for the second round. Requirements
Proven experience in mortgage broking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident phone manner. Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills. High level of self-discipline and ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
