About the Role:
Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and operational excellence? We're looking for a skilled IT Service Introduction & Transition Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and integration of cutting-edge digital case management systems into our Gov Agency's IT operations. This pivotal role will shape the IT Operating Model to sustain and optimise digital systems and processes, ensuring seamless service delivery and a smooth transition to BAU operations.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director of Program Delivery to plan and execute activities for release acceptance, data migration, and IT service cutover as systems transition into production. Define, implement, and manage the scope and support structure of hypercare services, ensuring a successful transition to optimised CI/CD operations. Develop data-driven frameworks for IT service demand forecasting, prioritisation, and resource management, ensuring alignment with business expectations. Maintain adherence to design and security standards through robust documentation and compliance processes, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Partner with IT leadership and service partners to integrate and consolidate existing software components within a secure Azure tenancy. Operationalise performance management, continuous improvement, and reporting tools to enhance solution performance and support services. Foster a culture of risk management, transparency, and accountability while adhering to data security and compliance standards. Manage solution total cost of ownership (TCO), leveraging data-driven forecasting and strategic vendor management. Design and oversee the transition of IT support functions to a centrally managed structure within CSV. Facilitate training, create comprehensive documentation, and ensure a smooth knowledge transfer to BAU teams. Capabilities & Skills: Extensive IT Service Transition Management : Proven experience in transitioning legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, including stakeholder engagement and operational execution. CI/CD Expertise : In-depth understanding and implementation of continuous integration and deployment frameworks. Microsoft D365 & Azure Knowledge : Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure services, including day-to-day operations and strategic transition. Leadership : Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage resources effectively to deliver complex projects. Risk Management : Proficiency in identifying, mitigating, and managing risks throughout the transition phase. Documentation & Training : Strong skills in creating detailed, user-focused documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer sessions.
