Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair heavy road transport vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Requirements: Trade qualification as a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic or Diesel Fitter. Proven experience working with heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
