Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Finance to join their dynamic leadership team.About the RoleOur client, a high growth FMCG, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Finance to join their dynamic leadership team.
This role is pivotal in driving the financial health and sustainability of the organisation.
The Head of Finance will partner closely with the CEO and play a key role in shaping financial strategies, overseeing financial operations, and championing growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organisational goals and support long-term growth and sustainability.Oversee Financial Operations: Manage all finance functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, profit and loss, forecasting, and cash flow management.Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Guarantee timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with Australian accounting standards (AASB) and IFRS, and lead audit processes and tax compliance.Risk Management: Develop risk management strategies and ensure financial controls and regulatory compliance are in place.Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial partners, ensuring transparent communication.Develop and Lead the Team: Foster a culture of integrity and high performance within the finance team, promoting continuous improvement in processes and metrics.Who You AreQualified and Experienced: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification required.Seasoned Leader: Over 10 years of senior financial management experience.Tech-Savvy: Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.Industry Insight: Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.Hands-On and Visionary: Ready to be both strategic and involved in day-to-day operations to support growth.What We OfferA collaborative and fast-paced work environment with great culture.A chance to build and shape the finance team and its processes.Opportunity to transition to CFO role in the medium term.If this sounds like the role for you, please follow the prompts to apply.
