Group Financial Controller

About The Role
The Group Financial Controller will play an essential role in Evolt's finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and compliance across the business.
Reporting to the CFO, this position will oversee financial operations, contribute to strategic decisions, and guide a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the compilation and delivery of the half year and annual financial statements within the required timeframes and in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and ASX requirements.
Manage the compilation of financial information for inclusion in monthly Board reports and other financial reports.
Contribute to the planning, management and executive decision-making processes of the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Finance Operations.
Establish and manage the financial control environment to ensure appropriate control of financial processes and procedures at all times.
Provide advice and guidance to the business on the application of accounting standards and principles, financial policies and procedures to particular transactions.
What You'll Bring
Professional Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar recognised accounting qualification.
Proven Experience: At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong background in financial control, ideally within a group or multinational setting.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading finance teams, with a knack for inspiring and developing talent.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
Resilience & Adaptability: A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
