Facility Manager (Residential Aged Care) - QLD Full Time | Permanent About the Role: Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to lead a Residential Aged Care home in Oxley, Queensland.
In this role, you will oversee the operational management of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care and service are provided to residents.
You will lead a team of professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Your strategic leadership will help achieve financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in alignment with the organisation's values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the operations of the residential aged care facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative frameworks, accreditation standards, and industry regulations.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting and cost-efficiency strategies, while driving the facility's financial performance.
Foster a positive and supportive culture through transformational leadership, promoting staff empowerment and development.
Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve the strategic goals of the facility and the broader organisation.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that aligns with industry best practices and resident well-being.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care standards, service delivery, and operational processes.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience of at least 3 years in managing a residential aged care facility or similar environment.
Current AHPRA registration.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development, financial management, and operational efficiency.
Experience managing and dealing with dementia residents.
A sound understanding of compliance, governance, and legislative requirements in the aged care sector.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills A relevant qualification in aged care, health management, or a related field - eg.
Nursing Degree and AHPRA Registered.
Proof of Vaccination, WMQ Limited policy and Current Driver's License.
Experience working within a similar organisational context, such as a not-for-profit or community-focused entity.
Familiarity with current trends and challenges in the aged care sector.
Ability to work within a philosophy of care that prioritises the holistic well-being of residents.
