Located in Docklands for a 12 month Contract duration & 3 days p/week, we are seeking an Environmental/Regulatory Advisor to oversee and coordinate environmental and regulatory programs for a construction project. You will be the primary contact for all environmental and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with permits, licenses, and regulations throughout engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Description Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Regulatory Compliance Plan and Environmental Management Plan Collaborate with consultants, project teams, and contractors to ensure environmental, socioeconomic, and health standards are met. Obtain necessary permits and monitor compliance with host country regulations. Guide and review EPC contractor plans and provide input on E&R performance. Monitor and report on E&R compliance, conducting site inspections and resolving issues as needed. Prepare internal and external E&R reports and ensure timely documentation. Profile Qualifications:
University degree in Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in environmental, socioeconomic, or health management in construction or extractive industries. Knowledge of regulations and external project financing is a plus. Strong English communication skills; familiarity with local languages is desirable. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in teams.
