Engineering Manager - AustraliaJob SummaryWe are seeking a full-time highly skilled and dedicated Engineering professional to oversee and manage a team of field service technicians.
In this newly created role, you will report to the Director of Global Services.
You will coordinate and schedule service operations to ensure the efficient use of resources.
Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring quality service delivery and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will serve as the key escalation point for the Service team.
Additionally, you will partner with the Country Manager to manage operational costs effectively and align field operations with service support processes.
You will develop and maintain effective workflow processes to streamline operations and improve overall service efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with a commitment to excellence in service management.Benefits / CompensationThe salary range for this position is $150k to 170k AUD.
In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity / stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.In this role you will engage in the following:Lead, mentor, support and train the field service team to provide timely and quality customer services in line with long-term strategy.Ensure conformity with plans and specifications, as well as laws, regulations and safety standards.Ensure all work is conducted in conformance with local and national regulations.Develop workflow for the field service team including project schedules and budgets.Assist in goal setting, skill enhancement and performance reviews activities for field service staff.Investigate, resolve any issues and feedback non-conforming trends to the manufacturing and R&D teams.Support and hold the team accountable, driving development and corporate culture to ensure engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are observed company wide.Develop programs to improve technical and customer service skills of team members.Address customer enquiries, resolve issues and obtain customer feedback proactively.Identify and resolve team members concerns and grievances.Maintain positive and healthy relationships with various teams to ensure customer service effectiveness.Support service teams in achieving individual and team service goals.Assist in interviewing, hiring and onboarding new professionals.Maintain quality standards and documentation of service activities for internal and external reference.Always ensure a safety-first approach.Essential requirements:Project management experience.Computer literacy.Customer service experience.Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills.Successful track record of managing multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting deadlines.Bachelor's degree in engineering and business.5 years of related experience with management responsibilities.People leadership experience managing remote field-based teams to success.The ideal candidate may also have:7+ years' experience in the medical device industry.7+ years' experience in Capital Equipment Service.3+ years' experience managing remote teams.Team player with a can-do, positive attitude and keen to continue learning.Willingness to regularly travel interstate and internationally when required.Current Driver's License.FULL-TIME / PART-TIME: Full-TimePOSITION: Engineering ManagerLOCATION: AustraliaABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONSCITON is an industry leader and manufacturer of medical aesthetic lasers and light source technologies.
