12+12+12 Month Federal Government ContractAGSVA Clearance required, higher clearances preferredBarton, Canberra - Mostly onsiteThis Federal Government Client is seeking to engage two experienced Cloud Engineers that will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and securing cloud infrastructure, resolving issues, ensuring high availability, implementing disaster recovery plans, designing scalable solutions and collaborating on cloud architecture and migration strategies.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to: Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure for high availability, reliability, and performanceImplement access controls, encryption, backups, and disaster recovery plansRespond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutionsDesign scalable and secure cloud solutions based on business needsCollaborate on cloud architecture and strategyPlan and execute cloud migration strategiesKey Attributes: Expertise in current tools, methods and technologies used within their domain of expertise while also having the ability to adapt to new technology and ensure they impart this knowledge to othersDemonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and compressed timelinesAbility to translate technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate across teams and external partnersAbility to lead, mentor, and develop a technical team, ensuring efficient operations and capability growthDemonstrated ability at creating technical documentation for technical maintenance and training purposesRequired Skills and Experience: Minimum three years of Cloud experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimisationSeveral years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutionsExperience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systemsExperience in IaC development such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, Azure ARM, and KubernetesExperience scripting with Perl, Python and PowerShellProficient with GIT to perform source code managementCompetence in a wide range of IT skills including backups, storage, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling.To apply for this role please call 02 6299 1006 or click the apply button to send your CV and interest (suitable applicants will be contacted by Recruitment Hive to advance their applications to Client).
