Your New Role As part of a small team, you will provide the nuts and bolts support for the end to end processes. From running due diligence, the data room, creating compelling information memoranda (IM's), clear and impactful powerpoint presentations / pitch decks, 3 statement financial modelling, and supporting all negotiations (whilst sitting at the table!). You'll report directly to the Firm Principals, no middle management, just direct support to the head honchos. As this team is purposely top heavy, there are no analysts, so as the associate, you will be hands on in delivery - equally, your executives are also hands on and not precious - they are in the trenches with you.
Your Profile Your experience can be from a wide variety of backgrounds and still be relevant, as our Client wants the right PERSON rather than specific profile. You are engaging with a strong interpersonal presence, switched on, dedicated, quick learner, ambitious and passionate about M&A. Depending on your experience level, the expectations of what you can do on day one will vary. Ideally, you can hit the ground running in financial DD, presentations, IM's, pitch decks as you'll immediately have 2 x sell-side deals to jump straight onto. Any post graduate work / qualifications related would also be well regarded, i.e. Masters in Finance, CFA I / II / III, Grad dip in Applied Finance would be beneficial.
