About the Role (your why) As the Account CTO, you'll be involved with technical scoping and costing of solution engagements, working directly with our specialists and clients to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology. You'll become fully immersed in the client's technical environment so you can make the best recommendations and develop the future technology roadmap for the customer. What you'll do As the Account CTO, you will be leading a team of architects and be part of the account leadership team. You will be providing strategic advice and be involved with technical scoping and costing of solution engagements, working directly with our specialists and customers to produce compelling, fit for purpose concepts and designs using a wide range of technology. You'll become fully immersed in the client's technical environment so you can make the best recommendations. The core objectives and responsibilities of the Account CTO include: Provide team leadership to the Architects on the account as well as architecture, design authority and quality assurance services during project delivery with a focus on Infrastructure solutions covering Wintel, Hybrid Cloud, Security, VMware and Software Defined Network Elements. As part of the account leadership team, you will provide the strategic planning and implementation of architecture initiatives to align with business objectives and strategic capability enhancement directives. Development and support of any Datacom innovation initiatives. In consultation with the Account stakeholders, execute against the IT strategy and development of IT Roadmaps. Trusted advisor to bridge the gap between technology and business objectives. What you'll bring We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a broad technical Infrastructure background who has a strong knowledge of architecture frameworks. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive production relationships. You will have a consultative approach with the ability to influence senior management and project leaders. To be successful in the role, you must have: Previous experience with leading a small team of Architects. A broad technical background in the infrastructure spectrum especially Wintel, VMware, AWS, Azure and Security. Ability to be part of the account leadership team with experience providing strategic advice to customers. An understanding of the applicability of Architectural frameworks, with relevant certifications. Previous experience in developing and delivering enterprise solutions to Government clients including the development of future technical roadmaps and technical end of life plans.
