Responsible to ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of international shipments through customs and regulatory processes. You will collaborate closely with our customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance.Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulationsReview customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilitiesResolve customs-related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issuesCollaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies and internal teams for efficient and timely clearanceMinimum EducationSecondary education or equivalentMinimum ExperienceAt least three (3) years of work experience in CustomsFor Associate level, no prior experience is requiredFor Lead level, at least five (5) years of work experience in Customs, of which at least two (2) years at FedEx/TNT is requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures and trade complianceProficient in customs clearance software and online customs portalWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office & PCStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsProven expertise in planning & organizing, with a strong accuracy & attention to detail
