Our graduate program provides a steep learning curve with a combination of practical experience and exposure to broader business process whilst providing opportunities for mobility across Australia.

Overview of Clear Grain Exchange Graduate Program
Our graduate program provides individuals the opportunity to:
Complete a structured 12 month development program with hands on training and support
Enjoy real world impact from day one through supporting the business development team to identify and engage potential new growers and service existing grower customers.
Experience the breadth of the CGX business with mobility across our office locations in Claremont in Perth, Prahran in Melbourne or Orange NSW.
Be motivated by exciting opportunities for graduates to impact business growth through opportunities post program completion.
Develop a deep understanding of Australian grain markets, how they function and how growers can impact the price of grain
Play a role in creating market efficiency and impacting returns at the farm gate
The CGX graduate program is full time, however applicants seeking part time or flexible working arrangements whilst they complete their study during the early phases of the graduate program are encouraged to apply.

About Clear Grain Exchange
Clear Grain Exchange (CGX) is an independent online exchange enabling buyers, sellers and their agents to bid or offer grain in an open and transparent market with secure settlement.
CGX now own and operate igrain, expanding our offering to cover ex farm and delivered markets.
Our day to day activities are centered on operating grain markets to ensure sellers, their agents and buyers are able to extract value.
As a small business we are proactive in engaging market participants, sharing information relevant to them and supporting their effective use of CGX and/or igrain.
This is all done with our objective in mind to improve farm gate returns by creating a more efficient market where all supply chain participants benefit.

Skills and experience applicants will bring to CGX

CGX graduates will be expected to effectively interact with growers including clearly communicating the benefits of using CGX, showing empathy, listening and exhibiting effective persuasive skills.

Eligibility for the Graduate Program
To be eligible for our graduate program you will need to have graduated with a degree from relevant tertiary studies in the last 2 years, or be in the last year of studying and have flexibility to work whilst completing study.
Although not limited to these, relevant studies include: Agriculture; Agricultural Science; Agribusiness; Commerce/Business (with an interest in Agriculture) or any other Agriculture related studies.
