Cleaning Supervisor-Melbourne Immigration Detention Centre, Australia

With a new contract commencing in early 2025, we currently have a full time role available for a Cleaning Supervisor to join the Spotless team. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for general cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, touch point cleaning, etc) at facilities contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the center.
What you'll doThe role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
Supervise a team of cleanersGeneral cleaning of designated areas (vacuuming, mopping, touch-point cleaning etc)Manual handling and lifting of equipmentRemoval of rubbishWhat you'll bringExperience operating industrial cleaning equipment (desirable)Experience managing a teamDemonstrated cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environmentStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skillsHighly developed attention to detailMore than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for Spotless and our client.Why work for usWorking for us means every day you will be enabling our communities to thrive.
