RSL LifeCare is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to work as a cleaner, who would love to make a difference in the lives of veterans and aged care residents at our 64 bed aged care home - Lara Aged Care, Dungog.
The position is available for a competent person to clean common areas of the aged care facility as per the schedule and as required. Duties include:
VacuumingDustingCobwebbingWashroom hygieneReplenishing paper stock as requiredStock controlCleaning showers and toiletsTaking out and bringing in garbage binsTo be successful in this role, you will: Have experience in cleaning; aged care cleaning experience is desirable but not necessary.Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the organization by maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.Have a positive outlook and enjoy working co-operatively in a team.Want to make a difference and contribute to the wellbeing of others.It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid RSL LifeCare Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
