The Terraces, a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes.
It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.
The Role
Known in the organisation as the Cleaning and Laundry Coordinator, this full time role will see you providing efficient supervision of the cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring a safe, high quality cleaning and laundry service to residents and guests in compliance with legislative requirements and ASNZS Standards for Laundry and Cleaning Practices.
Responsibilities include

Manage all compliance aspects of cleaning and laundry services
Provide leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team
Responsible for managing and working within budgets for cleaning, laundry and labour costs ensuring budgeted hours are achieved
Manage the ordering, delivery, stock control and storage processes for housekeeping services
Communicate regularly with residents and committees to ensure the housekeeping services meet their needs, and issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner
Identify opportunities to continuously improve operational processes and practices
Lead and manage Bolton Clarke's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) goals

To be successful you will need

Demonstrated experience in commercial housekeeping
Experience in organisation and management ability
Substantial communications skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Evidence of Australian work rights
Complete a police check (cost covered by Bolton Clarke)
Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
