As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Your role will involve performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including damp dusting, machine scrubbing, buffing, and polishing floors, as well as cleaning sanitary areas, windows, furniture, and hospital beds.
You will also handle specialised tasks such as steam cleaning, carpet cleaning, and cleaning infectious rooms, following strict policies and procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Requirements: Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal directions effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, with the flexibility to work under limited supervision when required.
Experience in cleaning, particularly in a hospital or similar environment, and the ability to organise workloads to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of safe work practices, hospital cleaning procedures, and a basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
Availability to work on a 7-day roster, including the flexibility to work a 24-hour roster to provide relief for night shifts as required.
Commitment to a 4-on, 2-off roster, with shifts scheduled from either 7:00 am to 3:40 pm or 2:20 pm to 11:00 pm.
While previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals with a willingness to learn and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
