Cleaner- Support Worker

Responsibilities: Assisting participants to perform important daily activities and home based tasks.Provide short-term focused interventions, psycho-education, and mentoring.Facilitating daily personal hygiene and care tasks.Assisting with coordinating and facilitating community access.Providing emotional support and encouragement.Facilitating participant communication and enhancing their choice and decision-making processes.Implementing and monitoring Behaviour Management Strategies as required.Goal Planning and trackingEmpowering participants with learning, skill development and employment.Transporting participants to medical and other appointments, and social activities as required.Upholding the rights, independence and dignity of all participants, ensuring confidentiality and their choices are recognised at all times.Skills Required:Certificate III or IV or above in Disability or Aged Care.NDIS Worker Screening Check.100 points of ID (Citizenship/Passport/Driver License/Visa & Granted Form, Medicare Card or government Issued Document).Police Clearance.First Aid + CPR.Manual Handling.Medication certificate.Car Rego.Car Insurance Comprehensive.Covid-19 Vaccinations 3 dose.
