Salary Range: Services Level 1- $30.26 - $31.23 gross per hour

About the Role St Teresa's School, Ravenshoe is currently accepting applications for a Cleaner on a fixed term contract.

Typical duties performed may include, but are not limited to:

The role involves frequent cleaning of desks, chairs, walls, floors and other items of furniture in classrooms Able to work split shifts i.e outside of regular school hours Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, polishers and blower Sweeping, mopping and buffing tiled floor Vacuuming carpets and mat Dusting desks, tables, shelves and ledge Picking up litter Emptying and washing rubbish bin Removing graffiti from desks, chairs and walls Cleaning windows, fans, fridges and stoves Removing cobwebs Cleaning toilets, sinks and basins Sweeping, blowing and hosing paved areas Locking up rooms Assist with other ad hoc and reasonable requests from the Principal where able to do so For further information about the roles and responsibilities, please refer to the Position Description:Position Description-cleaner.pdf Work Requirements Hold a Working with Children Blue Card (Paid) Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education What we offer Annual Leave with 17.5% leave loading Access to salary packaging options to maximise your salary Access to additional Employer Superannuation Contributions Access to long service leave after 7 years of continuous service (portability of Long Service Leave may also be applicable) 14 Weeks' paid parental leave Access to Employee Assistance Program Intending applicants must be fully committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.
