ABOUT THE ROLE Our site cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the facility by keeping the company premises clean and well-organised. The role includes repetitive commercial cleaning of lunchrooms, offices, toilets, outdoor facilities, and laundering services. As Sundrop farms Is a Food production facility the role must maintain strict hygiene practices to align with Sundrops Fresh Care, HARPS and SEDEX requirements.
To match the site's cycles, the job position requires a flexible working roster. It is a casual role, and the employee will be required to work for 30-38 hours per week. The roster commonly consists of 10am to 6pm shifts. However, the candidate must be flexible to work between 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Saturday. APPLICANT PROFILE •A superstar cleaner with high attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement
•Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment would be highly regarded
•Punctual, trustworthy, and reliable
•Ability to work efficiently without compromising on quality
•Able to lead by example and with influence
•Implement and uphold appropriate procedures and expectations
•Friendly, approachable, and cooperative when in a team environment
•Knowledge of duty of care and responsibilities under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012
•Ability to read and understand MSDSs and SDSs and follow Safe Operating Procedures
•Physically capable of undertaking all activities and manual handling duties in a safe and effective manner and willing to undergo a medical including drug and alcohol screening
•Responsible for the appropriate handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
•Excellent attention to detail and initiative
•Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly
•Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and cleaning equipment
•Ability to prioritise and good time management skills
•Good communication skills with the ability to listen carefully and ask questions to gain clarification.
•Must be able to cooperate with a wide range of staff in a pleasant manner
