Qualifications & experience Demonstrated experience as a Cleaner for diverse needs. Australian drivers licence (minimum P2) Recent Police Clearance First Aid Certificate CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Working With Children Check Up to date with your COVID19 vaccinations Show a strong willingness to learn new skills Flexibility around client commitments Able to navigate and adapt in different/challenging situations Ability to prioritise tasks to best meet client needs Time management skills and ability to plan ahead Tasks & responsibilities Make a difference through providing compassionate care, building trust and taking the lead to support individuals to live in residential home Enhance the lives of our participants by supporting them to live safely and with dignity at home Valued members of our team are responsible for maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our range of equipment. There are various group based recreational activities both at the center and in the community which you will be a part of. This role is fast-faced and requires someone that can work with multiple clients and has a high level of initiative. Work with people to access services and activities in the community. Work as part of a multicultural and diverse team to ensure continuity and consistency of support to participants Adhere to administrative procedures including data collection and maintenance of participant records. A reliable, punctual and mature attitude with demonstrated ability to work with limited direct supervision. An understanding of the importance of personal and professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality, ethical behaviour, policies and procedures.
