We are seeking permanent cleaning staff who are willing to go the extra mile for NSW schools, to provide a clean and safe environment for our children, teachers, and communities within the Maitland & surrounding suburbs – Maitland, East Maitland, Chisholm, Thornton, Metford, Ashtonfield, Rutherford, Beresfield, Aberglasslyn, and Gillieston Heights.
We currently have full-time & part-time vacancies in the following schools: Milbrodale Public School, 2 hours per day Monday to FridaySeaham Public School, Part Time Morning + Afternoon ShiftTafe Maitland Morning shift 4am-8amWe also have the casual pool open in these areas. Please note we require you to have 5 days availability across Monday to Friday.
We offer work-life balance by giving you the choice of the following shifts: Permanet, 8 hour, positions available for split shift (full time basis, 5am - 9am and 2pm - 6pm)Casual early morning shift: 5am - 9amCasual afternoon shift: 2pm - 6pmKey Duties: Cleaning of all touch points (taps, bubblers, handrails, door handles, bathrooms, desks etc)Mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of toiletsTidying grounds, rubbish collection and leaf blowingMaintenance of stock supplies and ordersDuties may vary from site to siteSkills & Experience: No experience necessaryGood communication and time management skillsAn eye for detail and proactive approachThe ability to work independently, as well as part of a teamWhat's in it for you? The suitable applicant must have reliable transport to and from work. You must also be able to pass a National Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical (including drug & alcohol testing), and obtain a paid Working with Children Check, prior to commencement.
