This is a permanent part-time (0.38FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025Additional FTE may be available.Geraldton Senior High School (SHS) caters for students in Years 7 to 12, enabling young people to complete their entire secondary education at our school.Our belief is that every student is unique with experience, learning styles and goals.

Cleaners play a vital role at our school by creating and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our staff and students to enjoy.The successful applicant will be required to carry out internal cleaning duties, in accordance with the Department's procedures.
The duties include the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, cleaning furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, drinking troughs and other items of general cleaning.In addition to this, the successful applicant will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required by the Cleaner In Charge.
Vacation cleaning duties will need to be completed and include shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning various areas.To be suitable for this role, you will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment.
