Cleaner This is an exciting casual opportunity for a friendly cleaner to join our team.
This role is an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do.
Your role will embrace and support our residents with general cleaning duties working in our Tea Tree Gardens Retirement Village located in Hope Valley.
There are additional positions in our Home Care team working across villages in the Adelaide area.

The position There are several shifts available Monday late afternoon to put the bins out for collection and then return them on Wednesday early morning 2.5 hours - We have a lot of bins in the village and this shift requires someone with the physical ability to move them from the enclosures to the collection area Thursday to clean the common areas – Community Hall, Offices and toilets as well as the toilets and showers in the pool area – 7.5 hours Other days and rosters available in the Home Care team supporting residents with housekeeping and general domestic cleaning duties across our villages – 15-20 hour per week Candidates can be rostered across these shifts depending on availability Reporting to the Manager - Care you will be responsible for: Providing high quality cleaning services in the common areas – Community Hall, Offices and toilets as well as the toilets and showers in the pool area Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service Reporting and recording any maintenance issues Maintaining privacy and confidentiality Assisting within other areas as required Following all Workplace, Health and Safety standards and reporting any safety or security concerns We're on the lookout for someone with: Demonstrated similar domestic or commercial cleaning skills and experience Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage Strong communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of people Full Drivers Licence (desirable) National Police Check (or ability to obtain) First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing Our benefits The wellbeing of all RetireAustralia team members is our priority and we regularly run initiatives such as safety training, wellness challenges, mental health awareness programs and a free annual flu vaccination program.
